This remarkable number of entries demonstrates the industry’s recognition of the SIP Awards as the pinnacle of consumer-focused competition. Winning a SIP Awards medal has become an accolade of tremendous significance, as the competition remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence.

To Alex Munroe, owner of Cape Fear Distillery, the awards don’t come as a surprise. According to Munroe, he made numerous trips to Mexico when searching for a great tequila, and ultimately partnered with the third oldest distillery in Jalisco. He says, “One of the keys to BillFish’s great taste is that the blue agave is cooked in two-hundred-year-old ovens, infusing a wide range of tastes that new ovens simply can’t provide.”
